There are dreams we have where there is a car. That car we end up being the passenger and watching our life be taken control of. Those who resonate with this tend to be in a position of loss and confusion and maybe even hopelessness. We feel like floating, and maybe the car is too. Everything is scary and out-of-control but “We can’t do anything about it” because we “tried”. Why give up?
The day I found myself giving my all as any day, and the moment I felt resistance from the outside towards my own being, I felt sad. “Don’t worry. Don’t give up”. The lyrics sang in the grocery store. Call it coincidence, but that’s not the conversation we’re having on this blog. You feel the same way, I bet. If you didn’t and you don’t resonate this this familiar feeling then hopefully this would change your perspective.
What if that was you in the driver’s seat? You have all the control in front of you but now all is needed is a map. Only the issue is there is no direction or an arrow pointing towards the path of greatest destination. The signs are blurry and the next highway exit is not for many miles. Eventually you accept the situation and take responsibility for the position.
