Against the Water’s Current

In a world full of uncertainties, there is fear that creeps in every corner. Society encourages pain, silently through the comfort of familiarity. The feeling of safety convinces someone the best course of action, even if it does not challenge them to grow. The same satisfaction of comfort is the familiar pain a person is used to. Pain leads the life of many individuals to this day, even blinding their concept of growth.

The idea of growth may be illogically uncomfortable. To swim against the current is what the best optical solution may occur to be. The one fish swims away and finds themselves against the biggest and most terrifying monsters the water’s current pushes away. However, once the choice is made to grow and become your own unique self, you must be willing to recognize the pain of fear. The same pain you flew from against the herd.

In timeline, what would the next step be to be happy? Do you continue on with the path you created or do you continue to challenge yourself with new currents? Are the new currents the path you are meant to forge? Everyone is meant to grow, becoming the best version of themselves in their lifetime. Typically, the path taken to grow is proven to be correct and simple for most. For some, the path is painfully challenging yet satisfying to view from the finish line.

Those who recognize the Universe’s hand in life’s changes may not make sense to the human’s eye ever. Certain situations force a lesson to grow your mind more drastically than your own plan ever would. Plans seem backwards, like an archer’s arrow being pulled back, only to be shot into success more aggressively than you would ever imagine. The Universe expects you to grow from situations and express dedication towards your greatest desires. To give up would mean to fall back into patterns you allowed yourself to be painfully conditioned to. Instead, you don’t release the arrow of pain, you allow the pain to stay out of the comfort you were once used to.
