Everyone desires a light to bring them happiness. When the day seems a bit slow and gloomy, it can be so simple to retreat to the comfort of our beds. The softness of the sheets and a warm spot left behind by our body. It can be so easy to fall into the familiar, mistaking it for safety and security. Until, you find yourself in a fetal position hugging a pillow desiring for everything to fall into place. The desire becomes desperation as your eyes reflect the light off the screen you grip on to.
That’s not the light you desire. The one dressed as potential and hope only containing wires, cold metal and a battery that needs to be shamelessly charged.
“Put the phone down,” you hear from your gut.
You ponder about the message you heard, and recognize it would be good to get up and do some work. The phone glares at you as you glance at the time. Two hours went by, but at least the whole day didn’t fly through the screen, right?
”Just a bit more time. I’m resting and I’m gonna find something that makes me laugh,” you reassure your anxious thoughts.
What happened to the warmth? Is it safety that brings one person to feel confident to lead unconditionally in their life again? Safety, true safety, brings confidence and security to be yourself again. If you can’t make your life the temple you deserve to become a king or queen, there needs to be either an addition or removal of energy to create the foundation required for the temple envisioned.
